I’m a psychology undergrad, hobbyist photographer, GNOME user since 2004, author of Specto, a crazy bug reporter and interface usability reviewer/commenter. I also design various websites, GUIs, icons, and like to draw whenever I have the time (which is “not often”).

I wanted a way to reach out to a great audience, instill reflections, cook some food for thought… like usability poetry. And that way was planet GNOME. Sadly it seems that I won’t ever get there because of the way it is managed. Nonetheless, some nice “reflections” and thought experiments should be coming down this blogpipe. I tend to use lots of mockups, screenshots, and even comics, to avoid spamming you with gigantic blobs of unsexy text. I may also share some tips and “findings of GNOME awesomeness” on this blog.

Some of my past big-length articles include The GIMP’s User Interface Is Not As Terrible As You May Think and “Making a GNOME desktop Mom-proof” (this one needs to be rewritten properly). For a full list of my articles, contributions, and profile info, you should be visiting my main home page.

Last but not least, I have a list of bugs that I would be willing to pay to get fixed.
